Renting of property has become big business and ignorance of the
law is no longer an excuse! To be regarded as professional it is an
essential to know how to adjust your lease agreement, as well as
how to inform prospective tenants of their rights within a sectional
title building.

There are innumerable cases which have taken place illustrating the average
rental agent’s ignorance about the Sectional Titles’ Act, most of which
could have been avoided if the agent had been more aware of the intricacies
of this act.

During the workshop you will be introduced into the terminology of sectional
title with appropriate illustrations, and how to avoid the most common problems such as:

• adhering to the conduct rules,
• fines,
• parking problems,
• cultural differences,
• Repairs, etc.
