The Urban Real Estate Research Unit (URERU) at the University of Cape Town will be hosting a webinar in which Associate Professor Francois Viruly will be looking at the longer term trends in the South African property market and the impact that Covid-19 is expected to have on this particular sector.
The webinar will pay particular attention to: what’s next in the residential and commercial sectors; the impact of the present macro-economic environment on the property sector and the property cycle; what the gig economy means for the commercial and residential property sectors; short- and medium-term expectation for vacancies and rental increases; what sectors are investors and developers focusing on; and medium-term expectations for valuations and property returns.
The cost per attendee is R500 and it will be run on the MS Teams platform.
