This is a 3 day course, facilitated by Terra Firma Academy’s in-house Environmental and Sustainability Professional, Caitlin Keam.
This course shows learners how to conduct a carbon footprint assessment in accordance with the Greenhouse Gas Protocol and ISO 14064. The course will give an understanding of the economic effects of climate change on industry sectors, and learners will be taken through a number of in-depth case studies and practical examples.
The course fee is R10 350.00 incl. VAT. This excludes below accreditation, but includes the online assessment which you will have access to after the course.
The following accreditation is voluntary. Participants may choose to complete one, or all.
- : The assessment needs to be completed in your own time over 4 weeks. Your Certificate of Attendance will be replaced with a Certificate of Competency should you be found competent. R2 530.00 incl. VAT.
- IEMA assessment: The exam takes place one day after completion of the course. It is a two hour multiple choice exam at an additional cost ofR2 185.00 incl. VAT. If you successfully pass the exam, you will receive a certificate from IEMA – an internationally renowned sustainability institute.
- Terra Firma Solutions online assessment, will award learners with a Certificate of Competence if 70% or higher is achieved. You will be able to perform this assessment in your own time, after completing all 3 days of the course. There is no additional cost involved in this option.
- Qualifying members can earn 3 CPD points through SACNASP.
