The South African Institute of Black Property Practitioners’ 2024 Annual Convention is centred around ‘Leveling The Playing Field’ in the property and built environment industry with the aim to deep dive in solutions driven conversations that will create equity and unlock equal opportunity in the industry.
Acknowledging the structural blockages that continue to characterise the sector and exclude black players from full participation is a crucial step towards equity. It is imperative that a policy and regulatory environment that gives everyone an equal opportunity to succeed is created.
The convention will create a space to engage on programmes, financing practices, skills requirements, mentorship and for networking as some of the practical solutions to creating an industry for all.
