Following a recent press release regarding the City of Cape Town’s review of its outdoor advertising and signage policy and bylaw, the Institute of Estate Agents of SA, Western Cape, invites all estate agents to attend their Property Update session being held on 8 December 2016 – where the draft policy will be discussed.
This new draft will affect all property professionals who use outdoor signage within the City of Cape Town and the deadline for comment for both draft policy and by-law is 15 December 2016. Agents have an opportunity to comment on the revised draft policy and by-law via the City’s online portal, and they should use this chance to give their input on changes being made.
Among the topics to be discussed by a selected panel – Anton du Plessis, a director of IEASA, Sandy Hotz, IEASA signage specialist, and Annette Evans, general manager – are:
· Feedback from IEASA on the City of Cape Town’s draft documents;
· How the changes affect estate agents and property professionals; and
· An open discussion and Q&A session.
This event counts for 2 non-verifiable continued professional points towards 2015 & 2016 CPD.
