Agenda

The business of waste

We will discuss issues facing the Western Cape waste sector and what waste means for your business. City of Cape Town representatives will present the major challenges in the waste industry, as well as highlight plans for the sector.

Putting waste to work

Commercial leaders in the waste industry will unpack the issues related to single use plastics, the circular economy and innovative solutions for plastics use and commercial PET recycling.

You can also look forward to learning more about innovative waste projects, including Paka-ching, a community waste collection programme that gives back to those who need it most.

Talk to the experts

Panel discussions with the speakers will allow you to engage directly and share your concerns, questions and ideas.

RSVP here by Friday, 9 August 2019.
