On behalf of UK Pact South Africa, the Carbon Trust and the Green Building Council South Africa invite building owners to a free 3-part training webinar that unpacks getting from an EPC to net zero carbon buildings.
Session 1: Getting an EPC
Date: 21 June 2022
Time: 09:00 – 11:00
This session will focus on how to get an energy performance certificate, who is responsible and who is involved in the process. We will use an EPC tool and unpack the data required.
Session 2: From ECP to net zero carbon ready
Date: 28 June 2022
Time: 09:00 – 11:00
This session will focus on driving energy efficiency in existing buildings by looking at case studies that address lighting, HVAC and tenant load retrofits in order to get a building net zero carbon ready. Financing around energy efficiency will be incorporated into this session.
Session 3: Getting to net zero carbon
Date: 7 July 2022
Time: 09:00 – 11:00
This session will address incorporating renewables and addressing offsets in order to get the building to net zero carbon operational energy and additionally look at the value of certification.
