The City of Cape Town is calling for comment on the draft local spatial development framework (LSDF) for Sir Lowry’s Pass Village and surrounds in the Helderberg District before the 31st of January 2025.
The draft LSDF proposes a spatial vision for the area which includes establishing a vibrant local commercial or business node to serve local communities, mixed-use development and medium-density residential development in appropriate areas – while protecting and enhancing the area’s heritage character.
Sir Lowry’s Pass Village is in the Helderberg District, north of the Firlands development area with the draft LSDF concerning the area bordered by the N2 highway including Blue Rock Estate, the railway line, Old Sir Lowry’s Pass Road, Tobacco Lane, Knorhoek Road, Farm 840 and Tre Donne.
Visit the City’s website or email the municipality before the 31st of January 2025.
