Mehlareng Mall marks McCormick Property Development ‘s (MPD) and Exemplar REITail’s third and final 2024 mall opening.
Anchored by Shoprite and Cashbuild, the c.10 000m2 retail asset provides convenient banking facilities with a selection of affordable fashion brands including Mr Price and Pepkor.

Designed by Living Planet Architects and developed by MPD in partnership with Kubela Properties in just under seven months, the mall is an aesthetic highlight in the area with looming bulkheads, natural lighting, and wide comfortable walkways creating a relaxed internal shopping experience. Two well-lit feature entrances also ensure a smooth customer flow throughout the mall.
Brand presence is continually enforced through tiling, wall motifs, mall furniture and lighting featuring ‘M’ iconography in bright orange and green colour palettes.
The asset will provide retail convenience to communities that have previously had to travel between 60 and 70 kms to the closest towns.
