Asrin Property Developers announces rebrand

Prominent Western Cape property developer, Asrin, has embarked on an exciting new chapter with the launch of its comprehensive rebranding initiative.

Founded in 1993 by Ishmail Essa, the Southern suburbs-based company felt that the current post-Covid era, together with rapid technological advancements, necessitated a need to re-evaluate their visual identity and presence in the marketplace.

Asrin continues to grow and evolve, and we wanted to ensure that our logo reflects this while remaining true to the heritage upon which we built the brand. A blend between the old and new felt like the most natural approach”, explains Essa who is still at the helm.

To bring their vision to life, Asrin turned to Scamp, a Cape Town design studio whose creative services they have used in the past. While a similar colour palette of red, silver grey, white and black was used, the logo itself has undergone quite the transformation, bidding farewell to its previous ornate style and adopting a more pared-back contemporary appearance.

This rebrand is the first in Asrin’s 30-year history and represents a significant step in the company’s evolution. It reflects Asrin’s evolved vision, innovative spirit and commitment to excellence in property development. While capturing the attention of a new audience was at the forefront of the logo redesign design process, there was also emphasis placed on ensuring that it remained recognisable to consumers who have been familiar with the brand through the decades.

By unveiling a fresh brand identity, Asrin’s ambition is to enhance its market presence, connect more profoundly with its clientele and set new benchmarks in the industry. This rebranding not only underscores the company’s growth and adaptability but also highlights its dedication to shaping the future of urban living in Cape Town and beyond.
