SAPOA Economic Breakfast sessions with FNB Economist, John Loos

Join SAPOA and FNB Commercial Property’s John Loos throughout February 2022 for their ‘Settling into the (not so) New Normal – Property and Economic Outlook 2022 and The Super-Cycle Beyond’ breakfast sessions in , in Nelspruit, Durban, Cape Town, Gqeberha, Polokwane, and East London.

Whether it is the economy or the property market, there is a lot to discuss. Much has changed since the start of the Covid-19 lockdown and the world is slowly coming to terms with the idea that the pandemic is not going away.

Internationally, the major Covid-19 induced change in the way we live and work has major implications for property markets. The rising interest rate cycle in late 2021 will have its own normal cyclical impacts while the long-term property value correction should normalize, implying a far more gradual pace correction compared to 2020’s hard lockdown.

As we learn to live with Covid-19, the attention returns to the normal economic an political issues in South Africa. John Loos will attempt to make sense of it all by providing his view of the path ahead for the economy and property market throughout 2022 and beyond:
