Ballito will soon boast its own same-day healthcare facility this December as construction makes progress within the mixed-use development, Odyssey.
The private state-of-the-art 32-bed day hospital, backed by Ribumed healthcare group, will provide the local community access to top specialists across the full spectrum of medical disciplines including oncology, radiology, and pathology, with four operating theatres, doctors’ rooms, a renal unit, and behavioural centre.
As Odyssey’s building programme begins to gain momentum, another key milestone is also in sight. On-site retailers are gearing up for the festive season with many having opened their doors, ready to welcome customers to a bespoke shopping experience with close to 30 local and international brands all under one roof.
The development will provide a first-class shopping experience, from a one-of-a-kind supermarket, trendy boutique browsing offerings to a high-powered, adrenalin pumping gym. Shoppers will enjoy a range of luxury and lifestyle brands to add to Ballito’s renowned retail offering, including Alpha & Omega Independent grocer, Salt Rock Coffee Company, West Pack Lifestyle, Fit24 gym, and Clicks.
