A complete dairy production facility in Howick, KwaZulu-Natal, is going on auction on the 18th of November at 11:00am at the Mount Edgecombe Country Club through In2Assets.
The sale of the property and the movables will form part of the liquidation of three companies, Dairy Day (Pty) Ltd., Chantilly Trading 20 (Pty) Ltd., and Honeydew Dairies (Pty) Ltd.
The approximate 11.4-hectare site comprises of a cold storage warehouse and dairy processing plant, attached admin offices, logistics offices, and various other improvements with a total gross building area of +- 24 224m2.
Set along the N3 National Freeway and accessed off Main Road (R107), the property is zoned as light industrial with freely permitted use, offering versatile opportunities for a manufacturing plant, distribution centre, or to continue as a dairy processing plant.
The movables to be auctioned off separately and interested bidders will be allowed to submit their bids online from 12:00pm on the 12th of November until 12:00pm on the 16th of November 2021.
Some of the movable items include Guth 15 000 litre per hour pasteurizing lines, 600 KG per hour butter line, Guth yogurt lines, Guth CIP lines, evaporating and drying plant and large quantity of stainless-steel tanks and many more items.
