On the 2nd of July 2020, intu properties announced that, following application by intu, the Financial Conduct Authority had cancelled the listing of intu’s ordinary shares on the premium segment of the Official List and the London Stock Exchange (LSE) had cancelled the trading of intu’s ordinary shares on the main market for listed securities maintained by the LSE, in each case with effect from 08:00 am (London time) on the 2nd of July 2020.
intu had applied to the Johannesburg Stock Exchange (JSE) for the cancellation of the listing and trading of intu’s ordinary shares on the ‘Main Board’ of the JSE.
On the 29th of July 2020, the JSE approved intu’s request to delist.
Intu has announced that the company’s last day to trade for the JSE delisting is on Tuesday, the 18th of August 2020 with the record date for the JSE delisting on Friday, the 21st of August 2020.
Removal of intu from the JSE will take place on Monday, the 24th of August 2020. intu’s s shares were suspended from trading on the JSE on the 26th of June 2020.
