Odyssey Medical Ballito introduces a medical centre of excellence. As an innovative mixed-use development, Odyssey will encompass healthcare, retail, commercial and residential opportunities all in one area; all within walking distance of one another. Odyssey’s medical centre is expected to launch officially to the public as soon as July 2020.

Odyssey has been designed to curate an outstanding mixed-use development that will provide an innovative lifestyle and healthcare solution to the Ballito area. As one of the few live-work-play, mixed-use developments to be introduced to KwaZulu-Natal; Odyssey is the first to introduce a medical centre that will give locals easy access to top-end specialists, multi-disciplinary healthcare and cost-effective solutions,” shares Minal Soni, Odyssey Medical Ballito representative.

Odyssey Medical Ballito will become a beacon of well-being and vitality to the community, as it will be home to a state-of-the-art day hospital, backed by a reputable medical brand. Additionally, it will feature doctor rooms, specialist medical suites, oncology and radiology sections, as well as a sub-acute facility,” explains Soni.

The Ballito area forms part of the prime North Coast of KwaZulu-Natal. Research from Rainmaker Marketing, Africa’s leading property marketing organisation, shares that the value of residential transfers has increased by 20% in the last 12 months from the year before. Furthermore, since 2011, Ballito has also experienced a huge population growth, with a 12 000-population increasing to 30 000, especially with 43% of new buyers between the 36 – 46 year old range. This growth further increases the demand for more essential healthcare services.

With Ballito one of the popular choices for businesses and homeowners alike, we believe that this dynamic mixed-use development will make a positive impact on the active, health-conscious and outdoor-loving community,” ends Soni.
