intu has announced that Barbara Gibbes will become interim chief financial officer with effect from the 29th of April 2019. The interim role will not be a board position.
A qualified chartered accountant, Barbara joined intu as director of finance in January 2017 from the Domino’s Pizza Group Plc, where she was group financial controller. Previously, she held other senior finance roles and she was a director at Deloitte.
The process to recruit a permanent chief financial officer commenced and it will include internal and external candidates. Hugh Ford, general counsel and group treasurer, will continue to report to Matthew Roberts, chief executive designate, on all financing and treasury matters.
