Attacq Limited has announced that the City Lodge Hotel Group will be expanding its footprint within Waterfall City.
The new hotel will introduce a ‘new concept’ 4-star Courtyard in Waterfall City and it will be developed in a 50/50 joint venture between Attacq and the Barrow Group. The new ten-level hotel will include 168 rooms, conference facilities, restaurants and a roof top sky bar where business patrons can enjoy sun downers and a view of the Magaliesberg mountain range. Waterfall City currently hosts one of the City Lodge Hotel Group’s 149-roomed, 3-star hotel.
Ranking amongst the five largest hotel chains in South Africa, the City Lodge Hotel Group comprises of five Courtyard Hotels, 19 City Lodge Hotels, 13 Town Lodges, 22 Road Lodges and the Fairview Hotel in Nairobi.

Construction of the new development is expected to start in March 2019 with completion estimated for October 2020.
