Knight Frank has announced the strategic appointment of Richard Hardie in the position of CEO to oversee their residential operations in Cape Town.
South African-born Hardie was identified for his experience and ability to effect innovation and impact in an evolving and competitive African property market. Alongside Nick Gaertner, newly appointed Chief Operations Officer, he will lead a new management team.
Hardie started his career at Foxtons in London before being lured to Harrods Estates and later consulting for Phil Spencer of Garrington Home Finders. As Managing Director of Livingroom Estate Agents in Guernsey he earned the agency a much-coveted Best Business Award. He has managed Knight Frank’s Atlantic Seaboard/City Bowl branch since 2016.
