With just one secure access route into the town, residents and visitors can enjoy Yzerfontein’s restaurants, coffee shops and recreational activities with peace of mind. Located about 90km north of Cape Town, Yzerfontein boasts some of the Cape’s most unspoiled beaches, and its 16-mile beach is the longest continuous strip of beach in the country. In Spring, the Southern Right Whales are frequent visitors and the fields are awash with iridescent wildflowers.
