Zanzibar, an unparalleled destination in the Indian Ocean off the coast of Tanzania, stands to undergo a mega transformation of both social upliftment and tourism. Zanzibar Amber Resort, commissioned by Pennyroyal Gibraltar Ltd., will be the largest premium hospitality investment and resort in East Africa. For the first time in history, expatriates will be able to invest in property on the tropical island.

Negotiations have been administered between the Government and founders to enable, non-Tanzanian residents the option of purchasing residential property in Zanzibar. Supported by a 99-year lease (and further extended by an optional 49 years) the residential opportunities will become available from mid-2017. Choices ranges from single bedroom studios to four bedroom penthouses with a range of world class amenities including:

  • A shopping mall & commercial retail outlets.
  • Cafés.
  • An international School – affiliated to premier educational establishment.
  • A sports centres: football, tennis, and horse riding.
  • Faith centres for diverse religions, including Mosques and Churches.
  • A private airport and medical facilities to be built.
