Botha’s Hill in the Upper Highway area of KwaZulu-Natal has a certain ‘ruralness’ about it, and offers a great mixture of property types ranging from homes to bed and breakfasts, wedding venues, commercial enterprises, an upmarket equestrian estate (Stoneford), nurseries, farms, smallholdings and the like. Buyers who want that country feel and the beautiful surrounds of the Valley of 1000 Hills and fresh air will definitely highlight Botha’s Hill as an area of choice. Also, buyers who require use of the land for farming and the like whilst giving their families a lifestyle ‘far from the madding crowd’ settle here. Those who buy in the area are a mixture of retirees, professionals and those looking for farms/smallholdings.”
