Delighted new owners of The Vantage – an upmarket Mouille Point, Cape Town development that sold out within six weeks when launched in August 2014 – received their keys last month (28 April) from developer and founder of Vantage Property, Jose Rodrigues, and Pam Golding Properties (PGP), which had an exclusive sales mandate.
Spanning only 20 months from sell-out to handover (said to be a record for the Mother City) the project’s success and fast turnaround has been attributed to innovative and appealing design, a hands-on developer with extensive experience in the Johannesburg market, inclusion of top-end appliances and flat screen televisions in every unit (unusual for the Cape Town market) and readiness to meet purchasers’ specific requirements.
Ideally located in Bay Road, The Vantage enjoys panoramic views of Table Mountain, the Atlantic Ocean, Green Point urban park, golf course and stadium. The 21 luxury apartments, including two penthouses, each with a private deck, swimming pool and direct lift access were snapped up at prices ranging from R3 million to R11 million.
