Entrepreneurs equipped to grow their businesses with One Chadwick Co-Working Space

Five-star One Chadwick Co-Working Space equips entrepreneurs to grow their businesses.

The traditional office is dying, as work forces around the world break free of the nine-to-five mentality, enabled by technology and the sharing economy. As a result, collaborative or serviced work spaces are becoming an increasingly popular option for entrepreneurs and businesses.

XtraSpace, the South African provider of flexible space, which launched the high-end Melrose Arch FlexiOffice offering last year, is now developing a new flexible co-work facility, One Chadwick Co-Working Space, conveniently positioned in Wynberg, just off Grayston Drive in Sandton, Johannesburg.

“What makes One Chadwick special is our unique combination of services, which enables the small business owner or entrepreneur to have his office, warehouse and logistics service all under one roof,” says chief operating officer, Colleen Mansour. “It’s a turnkey solution for entrepreneurs, helping equip them with everything they need to grow their businesses.”

Membership packages start at only R1 750 per month. There are 50 individual serviced offices with reception, a business centre and concierge, just like at the Melrose FlexiOffice. One Chadwick also offers high-speed internet, meeting rooms, boardrooms, logistics services with a local and international courier service, 250 secure and dedicated storageunits, and SpaceBox, the company’s online valet storage service. It also has a fully equipped event space, the Willowood Atrium, with stage, projector, sound and catering facilities. It is 100% flexible, accessible (right on the highway) and offers ample secure parking.

And importantly, excellent coffee, muffins, cake and light meals are on offer too.

Mari Schourie, CEO of XtraSpace FlexiOffice, says the gains in developing co-work spaces are numerous, considering that research done by PricewaterhouseCoopers has shown HR professionals predict that at least 20% of their workforce will be made up of contractors or temporaryworkers by 2022.

Schourie says the Wall Street Journal reported how a New York-based start-up, We Work, which offers serviced office space to travelling entrepreneurs, is now worth $5-billion.

“If start-ups want to get on with business, they simply don’t have time to worry about a courier service or whether the video conferencing facilities are working,” says Schourie. “So it’s not surprising that co-work spaces are taking off around the world. Our intention is to take the hassle out of running an office. The world of work is changing so fast that we need to offer entrepreneurs and businesses five-star options and services that allow them to get on with building their businesses. Advances in technology mean we can do this now, and seamlessly service a vibrant, innovative entrepreneurial community.”

One Chadwick’s target market is professionals and entrepreneurs looking for ultimate flexibility and a convenient location. “Our space is ideal for professionals who sell their skills, time, talents and creativity. We have taken ‘meeting at a coffee shop’ to a whole different level,” says Mansour. “Co-working space will provide you with all the benefits of a traditional office within an established business environment at a fraction of the cost.”

One Chadwick is bound to be popular with entrepreneurs – which is why XtraSpace is moving its head office into the development too!
