South Beach, part of The Blue Views Collection, has officially announced that in September 2016 it will be adding 10 more five-star suites including two one-bedroom apartments – one with a private pool – as an extension to the property, which currently comprises nine sea-facing suites. The first phase of South Beach was developed in September 2014, and is situated just 50 metres from the world-famous Camps Bay beachfront.
The second phase of this Miami Beach-style development, designed by Greg Wright Architects, will offer the same unique experience that all existing Blue Views’ suites and villas provide to guests: self-catering accommodation with the convenience, comfort and attention-to-detail that is expected from a luxury hotel.
Comments Tony Stern, Founder of The Blue Views Collection: “South Beach guests are not only offered a unique holiday experience because of the style of accommodation, but also because of this property’s unrivalled location within walking distance to the beach and some of the best restaurants and bars in the area. We are pleased to be adding to this exceptional development and we look forward to being able to offer this experience to even more guests with the addition of the new suites.”
All of these suites – like the existing South Beach ones – will be sea-facing, offering incredible ocean views. They will likewise include a concierge service seven days a week, daily housekeeping, as well as access to two communal swimming pools, a pool bar, bicycles and an in-house gym.
The Blue Views Collection was founded in 1997 and comprises some of the most luxurious properties in the Camps Bay region of Cape Town. Having had a presence on TripAdvisor for only 15 months, South Beach received a 2016 Travellers’ Choice award, confirming its position as one of the top properties listed on this site.
Comments Greg Wright at Greg Wright Architects: “Working with Tony is always a collaborative design experience where the rules of the typical client-architect relationship do not apply. He’s always looking for innovative creative solutions that raise the bar, to create new lifestyle experiences for his projects and South Beach 2 will be no exception. He trusts our judgement and what we have to offer as architects, making the process one where the outcome is guaranteed to be special.”
