Ms Tsundzukani Mhlanga, the newly appointed Financial Director of Ascension Properties Ltd.
Tsundzukani Mhlanga has been appointed as the Financial Director of Ascension Properties Limited (Ascension), effective 18 January 2016. She is a qualified chartered accountant and holds a MBA from the University of Cape Town’s Graduate School of Business. Prior to joining Ascension, Tsundzukani was acting chief financial officer of Alexkor SOC Limited (Alexkor).
Ms Mhlanga served on various board subcommittees at Alexkor for the past three and a half years overseeing, amongst other matters, the finance, procurement and risk management functions as well as the joint venture operations of the business. She completed her financial management articles at Edcon Holdings Limited and in 2009 joined Pembani Coal Carolina Proprietary Limited, where she held the position of finance and procurement manager.
