Atterbury Property Developments has announced that Maxwell Office Park is on schedule for completion in November 2015 when it will welcome another group of top businesses into the park.

The AAA-grade, 4-Star Green Star SA rated Maxwell Office Park is located within Waterfall City in Waterfall, on the corner of Maxwell Drive and Magwa Crescent West, and only a stone’s throw away from the iconic Mall of Africa development, set to open in April next year.

Construction of the final building in the park, which marks the completion of Maxwell Office Park, is already underway. This multi-tenant development comprises seven individual buildings, each spanning between 4,000sqm to 8,000sqm in gross lettable area of quality office space. The office park also features a communal business centre, including a restaurant, corporate cloakrooms and two 24-seater wi-fi enabled boardrooms for conferences and functions.

In total, Maxwell Office Park will, upon completion, make up a sizeable 38,000sqm of first-rate office space.

Maxwell Office Park’s fourth building includes three floors of contemporary offices. Its ground floor will be tenanted by quantity surveyors Pentad QS, with co-tenant Flexible Workspace. While its first floor will be home to JSE-listed Northam Platinum Limited and SSA; with engineering, procurement and construction firm Black & Veatch occupying the entire second floor with only 411sqm vacant on ground floor.

In Building 06, which is now fully let, Citiconnect will occupy a section on the second floor, while Contineo Virtual Communications will join them on second floor.

These top businesses have joined a host of leading blue-chip companies that are already working from Maxwell Office Park including Golder and Associates, Atterbury, Attacq, Cipla, Bakgatla Tsipi, Premier Foods, Honda SA, Morgan Spencer, and Quant S.A. Noted consumer goods giant Colgate Palmolive took occupation of its premises in the park in September this year.

Coenie Bezuidenhout, Atterbury Property Developments Director who is responsible for coordinating Maxwell Office Park, says: “It is a pleasure to welcome our new tenants to the growing and vibrant business node that meets all the requirements of modern companies.”

Arno Du Plessis, Project Manager of Maxwell Office Park adds that part of Waterfall’s appeal lies in Waterfall being a major catchment area in the Gauteng province, creating a large growth node and a new modern city. “Maxwell Office Park brings together the best in modern office efficiency with environmental sustainability, making it the perfect address for long-term business success.”

He also reports that Atterbury has received strong interest for the remaining office spaces available at the park and, based on its take-up track record, expects it to be fully let soon.
