As part of The Zone @ Rosebank’s R500-million revamp, it has recently launched three new stores. The launch of the stores speaks further to The Zone @ Rosebank’s quest to become a premier shopping destination and strengthening its offering as a lifestyle brand.
From trendy fashion and footwear, through exquisite health and beauty retailers, to an abundance of eating options and entertainment areas, The Zone @ Rosebank offers a vast array of retail options, meet-and-eat venues, and the first Cine Prestige in Gauteng, offering moviegoers a new level of luxury viewing. The three new stores will give shoppers an even wider choice and set the tone for what’s to come.
The first phase of the repositioning sees the opening of the chic and romantic French-style bakery The Patisserie. Initially established in Illovo in 2003, it’s already famous for its authentic Parisian macaroons, petit fours, red-velvet cupcakes and light-as-air millefeuilles. It’s the perfect place to meet over a relaxed breakfast or for a celebratory high tea. Find it on the ground floor of The Zone @ Rosebank.
Fashion designer Thula Sindi is renowned for his bold and elegant ready-to-wear and bespoke fashion. His new store on the first floor joins a catwalk of other fashion outlets in the centre, from Diesel, Guess and JJ Schoeman to Sissy Boy, The Space and Big Blue, and many more. Since 2006, Thula Sindi has been ranked in the top tier of South African fashion designers, with a client base that includes Terry Pheto, Liezel van der Westhuizen and Jena Dover. His new store anchors the tenancy shift for this corridor at The Zone @ Rosebank, with exciting brands opening here throughout the rest of the year.
To add to the excitement, Pandora, the international Danish jewellery manufacturer and retailer founded in 1982, has recently opened its doors. Well known for its hand-finished and modern jewellery, the international store is a favourite for those wanting quality and high-style design and speaks to the direction in which The Zone’s tenant focus is heading.
Similarly, KAUAI, a mainstay on the South African health and wellness scene, has opened their first new concept store at The Zone @ Rosebank. The store reveals their new corporate identity, new store interiors, new menu and a generally new customer experience. Inspired by clean line simplicity, the new store carries a neutral palette of concrete tiles, cool white marble counters, warm oaks and crisp black and white graphics.
Later this year new anchor tenants on the ground floor will include a SuperSpar and a modern and energetic Viva Gym to add to Rosebank’s allure.
