Role: Valuer (Property Finance)

Location: Clocktower Building, V&A Waterfront

Job Title

 Valuer

Job Purpose

 To ensure the accuracy, validity and reliability of property valuations.

Key Performance Areas

  

 Valuations:·Compile valuations of all types of properties for mortgage lending purposes, including insurance valuations, assessment of property risk and ensuring compliance with procedures.·Attend site/technical meetings.

·Contribution to continuous improvement in methodology, quality and accuracy of valuations

Client Service:

·Build and maintain client relationships.

Contribution to the Valuations Team:

·Contribute to the success of the valuations team by sharing skills and knowledge.

Collection and Maintenance of Date:

·Liaise with Property Brokers and related professionals.

·Contribute to and update property data base.

Essential Qualifications

 Matric certificate, National Diploma in Property Valuations or degree in Real Estate, majoring in Property Valuations.
Certificates Professional Associate Valuer (without restrictions) registered with SA Council of Valuers. Registered with Institute of Valuers or Black Valuers Association.
Job Related Experience ·Good understanding of the commercial property market, feasibility analysis and property risk.·Experience in property financing would be preferable.·3-5 years experience in commercial Property.
