Derek Tod has approximately thirty-five years experience in business management and retail distribution on a national scale. He was appointed Managing Director of DAWN in 1998 and he played a pivotal role in the successful implementation of a turnaround strategy at DAWN which involved a complete change of direction. Dereks in-depth knowledge and experience in the building materials supply industry, expands across into the manufacturing environment which drove a highly successful backward integrations strategy at DAWN since 2004. .
