Bheki was appointed to the board in November 2008. He is a Chief Executive of the Chamber of Mines. He has also worked in a number of South African blue-chip companies including Ford Motor Company (HR), SA Breweries (Procurement, Logistics and HR) and Tongaat Hulett Sugar (Director; HR). Bheki was a founding Chief Executive of Business Unity South Africa, the most authoritative voice of significant national policy-formulating structures, such as the anti-corruption forum, Presidents Working Group with Business and the Africa Peer Review Mechanism Council. .
