Excellerate Property Services is leading South Africa’s large property service providers in Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment (B-BBEE) with its new Level 2 B-BBEE rating.
As a provider of fully integrated, self-performing property solutions, Excellerate’s new B-BBEE rating reflects its commitment to transformation and empowerment in South Africa.
Marna van der Walt, CEO of Excellerate Property Services, comments: “Excellerate’s BEE programme is far-reaching and broad based. It benefits many previously disadvantaged individuals. We are committed to corporate social responsibility.”
She adds that, as a group of companies, Excellerate is committed to the transformation and empowerment objectives of South Africa.
“Thanks to our fully-integrated self-performing property solutions, Excellerate is in a unique position to create real transformation that is both broad and deep. We strive to directly affect the transformation of society, including economic and social change. This is happening at all levels of our business and across different disciplines and skills,” notes van der Walt.
Besides its Level 2 BEE Certification, Excellerate has been extremely successful in accomplishing transformation in ownership, enterprise development and socio-economic development, where it has achieved and exceeded all scorecard requirements.
Grant Thornton Verification Services certified Excellerate Property Services’ B-BBEE rating in line with the DTI’s General Codes of Good Practice.
“Excellerate’s new rating gives us a 125% B-BBEE procurement recognition level, so our rating will also support our clients’ procurement scorecards,” points out van der Walt.
