SAPOA Negotiations Skills Masterclass

The master class in negotiations is a 2-Day workshop targeted at everyone in the retail and commercial property industry. Negotiation is the most challenging and complicated form of communication there is. In order to be an effective negotiator, excellent communication skills at very high levels are essential. Negotiators also need to understand the psychology of the negotiating game, and how to use heightened Emotional Intelligence to achieve the desired outcomes and manage the other parties effectively. This Master Class will give delegates the fundamental techniques and necessary confidence to achieve their desired outcomes. Role-plays are used during the training.

 Essential Commercial Property Programme (ECPP) KZN – Wits

The Essential Commercial Property Programme targets people who have had some experience or formal knowledge of the Commercial or Industrial Property Industry (approximately 2-3 years’ work experience) or those who have successfully completed the Introduction to the Commercial Property Programme. The course is presented nationally by SAPOA in conjunction with Wits University, UCT, NMMU, UFS and the other Universities. Successful delegates will be awarded a certificate of completion and attendance at the end of the programme.

The Property Financial Programme (PFP)

The Property Financial Programme (PFP) is an intensive 2 Day training programme offered in partnership with the University of Johannesburg. This training programme is aimed at new entrants and people who have no formal experience or knowledge in financial concepts in the Commercial or Industrial Property Industry. Delegates will be able to apply the knowledge learnt, in their working career as financial practitioners in the property industry.

The National Building Regulations Act: “ The SANS 10400 Regulations”

The workshop will cover the philosophy and intent behind the Regulations to allow attendees to interpret and understand the requirements of the National Building Regulations. Various sections of SANS 10400 will be covered to ensure that attendees are made aware of the basic requirements that are required to develop and maintain buildings to ensure the health and safety of persons. Who should attend: People who manage any types of property or facilities, landlords, property and retail owners. SAPOA has successfully run this programme in-house for all the Facilities and Property Managers of Engen Petroleum Limited.
