For those who love boating, fishing, water-skiing or bird-watching, there can be few more desirable locations than the Port Owen marina, located on the Cape West Coast at the mouth of the Berg River. The marina development lies between the town of Velddrif and the fishing harbour of Laaiplek, just inland from the sheltered sweep of St Helena Bay.
