Lightstone, a provider of comprehensive data, analytics and systems for the property industry, has launched EzScore, a new addition to its Property Information Toolkit, a comprehensive range of reports for the property industry.
EzScore is a powerful new functionality that enables property professionals to conduct basic affordability and risk checks on potential clients. “We are confident that EzScore will provide real value to those working within the property industry to make a more informed choice when determining the likelihood of a successful transaction,” says Andrew Watt, MD of Lightstone.
To conduct a check, someone simply needs to insert a client’s ID number – after receiving consent – to obtain a basic affordability assessment that indicates the estimated risk and financial affluence of the client. The Financial Affluence Segment indicates the level of financial and lifestyle affluence; while the Risk Rating segment estimates the customer’s likelihood to qualify for finance or meet their contractual obligations.
“With forthcoming legislation regarding the protection of personal information, the exclusive consent module provides the property professional with the assurance that they are remaining fully compliant with all applicable regulations and legislation.”
Watt notes that no credit enquiry is performed on the client, meaning that no imprint is applied to their credit record.”
EzScore will be available to all subscribers of the Lightstone Property Information Toolkit.
“With the additional functionality now included within the Property Information Toolkit, we are confident that property professionals will be in a far stronger position to assess the actual needs and affordability of their clients, ensuring they can find the right property at the right price or rental,” concludes Watt.
