Liberty Promenade Shopping Centre Gets Physical

Two new tenants, Fives Futbol and Zone Fitness have commenced trading at the Liberty Promenade Shopping Centre.

Maurice Mdlolo, MD, Liberty Properties says, “The aim of introducing a new offering in the form of lifestyle tenants is to further entrench the centre’s status as the preferred shopping destination of the Mitchells Plain and Khayelitsha communities.”

The introduction of Fives Futbol provides consumers, no matter their age or skill, with an indoor five-a-side (5v5) soccer venue on a state-of-the-art FIFA approved long turf courts with live cameras. To kick off Africa’s best 5v5 facility, Fives Futbol is hosting a celebrity 5-a-side match whereby Ajax players will be going up against local media, including entertainment by local star Chad Saaiman and MC Natalie Becker.

Zone Fitness Mitchells Plain, the newest club in the Zone Fitness group, is a modern health and fitness club with a fully equipped aerobic studio offering classes such as Step & Tone, Yoga, Pilates and Body Conditioning. Other facilities include a complete circuit, a comprehensive toning area, a wide range of electronic cardiovascular equipment, a free-weights section and change rooms with shower and lockers
