Main findings of this H1 2013 report are as follows:
- Increasing costs pressure continue to burden the South African business community and the already indebted consumers.
- In the previous years, the office market was characterised by the lack of quality buildings but this will soon be reversed as occupiers will soon be afforded a wider choice of quality buildings.
- Increased development projects are concerning as they may add to the currently rising vacancies in the midst of slow demand for office space.
