IPD was pleased to announce today the appointment of experienced property professional, Phil Barttram, as Vice President of Client Coverage in South Africa.

Barttram is the former Head of Research for Old Mutual Property, and has a broad experience in real estate, asset management and strategy consulting. He earned a PDP (Property Development Programme) and MBA at University of Cape Town and has gained specialist insight into all aspects of property supply and demand research, including economic, demographic and consumer trends.

Barttram will be responsible for guiding and increasing IPD’s business and profile in South Africa and the African continent. Barttram says of his new role, “IPD is eager to open up new markets throughout the continent, driving practical and scalable commercial services and solutions for a wide range of clients”.
