Building activity showed relatively strong growth in some segments of the market for new housing in the first two months of 2013. The planning phase contracted by a small margin up to February this year compared with a year ago, while the construction phase of new housing benefitted from double-digit growth in the segment for smaller-sized houses as well as the category for higher-density housing, i.e. flats and townhouses.
