International luxury knitwear brand Pringle is set to open at Mall of the North in Polokwane, Limpopo. With other new retail brands, it brings even more shopping variety to the super-regional Mall of the North in Polokwane, Limpopo.
Pringle will open its signature shop at Mall of the North on 29 March 2013.
“We’re keeping our shoppers on point with the latest trends by adding new highlights to our retail mix,” says Mall of the North general manager Sumari de Ridder.
“Mall of the North is trading strongly and attracts demand for space from the most desirable retailers operating in South Africa. This allows us to fine-tune our retail mix to meet the changing requirements of our shoppers.”
Driving its performance is its comprehensive and quality retail mix which combines vast retail variety with regular grocery shopping and features a prominent fashion factor. This is led by Mall of the North’s anchor retailers including Checkers, Edgars, Game, Pick ‘n Pay and Woolworths, as well as a Ster-Kinekor cinema complex, the only one in Limpopo.
Also joining the exceptional retail mix of 180 shops at Mall of the North on 1 May are three retailers which will provide more choice at the mall – Sorbet, Signature Cosmetics and Vetsmart.
Pampering with professional beauty treatments and products, Sorbet will indulge shoppers with its ranges including skincare brands Dermalogica and Environ, and Essie for nail care.
Adding even more gloss to Mall of the North’s retail experience is Signature Cosmetics. This niche retailer offers a range of house-branded Signature products as well as international brands such as Revlon, Yardley, and Bio-Oil.
Finally, for our furry friends, and those with feathers and fish-scales too, South Africa’s leading pet food and accessory retailer, Vetsmart, will also add to the diverse shopping choices at Mall of the North.
The 75,000sqm Mall of the North, which opened two years ago in April 2011, has also made some adjustments to allow for this fresh new retail variety. Vodashop is now bigger and trading from a new position in the mall. Solo Shoes is also putting its best foot forward in a new store.
“We constantly assess our retailer mix to ensure Mall of the North continues to meet shopper needs,” explains de Ridder. “This allows us to innovate and improve, to give our customers a full and enticing shopping experience.”
Mall of the North is jointly owned by JSE-listed Resilient Property Income Fund, Flanagan & Gerard Property Development & Investment, and Moolman Group.
