Leading SA property development and investment company Intaprop is bringing a R100 million development for MAN Truck & Bus South Africa to Gauteng’s busy Isando node.

Located at the intersection of high-traffic Barbara Road and Brollo Road, the site exhibits high exposure for MAN.

“Isando is a hub for logistics and distribution facilities, not least because of its exceptional access to the highway network, but also thanks to its proximity to OR Tambo International Airport,” says Intaprop director Hugo Stroud.

“The node is an ideal location for MAN.”

The facility for MAN includes a 17,000m² distribution facility and associated offices, with expansion capacity for a further 9,000m² of distribution space. Construction has already commenced and is scheduled for completion August 2013.

A wholly-owned subsidiary of German automotive giant, MAN Truck & Bus AG, MAN Truck & Bus SA is a market-leader in the assembly and supply of heavy-duty commercial vehicles in the southern African region.

Intaprop, a private property development and investment enterprise, has a successful track record in corporate property development. Their long list of high-profile developments of scale include: Vaal Mall in Vanderbijlpark, Willowbridge Centre in Cape Town, The Grove: Riverside in Nelspruit, corporate head offices for clients including Webber Wentzel, Microsoft, Tiger Brands, Standard Bank, and distribution facilities for UTi Pharma.
