CAPITOL COMMERCIAL PROPERTIES was founded in December 2000 by Pieter van der Westhuysen and Pieter-Jozua Erasmus, when they decided to depart from their respective firms and join forces.
Soon after CAPITOL’s inception, they were awarded the sole mandate on the sought after Tyger Waterfront Development. The marketing of this prime land and subsequent sales of commercial premises, comprised of retail and office space and was successfully executed. CAPITOL took a conscious decision to focus their efforts on the Northern Suburbs of Cape Town. This has ensured that CAPITOL is able to give clients an objective and thorough overview of office availability in the area. They pride themselves on the fact that they have extensive knowledge on all vacancies and they are abreast of current and future Tenant movements.
Since 2006, CAPITOL has tracked office vacancies in the Tyger Valley area and this data is currently used by various publications including the quarterly Rode Report, distributed nationally.
