Growthpoint Properties’ initiative, Property Point has successfully facilitated more than R1 billion procurement opportunities for small businesses operating within South Africa’s property sector.
Property Point was launched by Growthpoint in 2008 and in 2018, represents a decade of its success in developing sustainable small businesses.
Over the past ten years, it has facilitated market opportunities worth R1.14 billion for the 168 SMEs that have taken part in its two-year enterprise and supplier development programmes. It has also created more than 2 405 full-time jobs.
The success that Property Point builds for small businesses is concrete; its SMEs report an average 44% growth in revenue.

Property Point has had deep-rooted success in growing competitive small businesses and unlocking supply chain opportunities in Gauteng, KwaZulu-Natal and the Western Cape. Besides its successful enterprise and supplier incubation for the property sector, Property Point also leverages its resources to boost entrepreneurs across all sectors of the economy. So far 3,700 entrepreneurs have attended Property Point’s various seminars and workshops, including its popular monthly Entrepreneurship To The Point sessions.
